The best part of my life has been having my own children and my first grandbaby. With a background in early education, I taught pre-K through 3rd grade for 10+ years and I have been a full-time nanny for the last 6 years with the most amazing families! I believe in open communication, while always providing a safe and nurturing environment. I enjoy crafting, initiating new and creative activities. I enjoy swimming, parks, and doing everything outdoors. I'm looking for a full-time position working with children between the ages of 0 and 10. I am very comfortable helping with meals, cleaning, and school pickups. I am also very comfortable working with infants, potty training, and preparing toddlers for preschool and kindergarten. I am also a dog and pet lover. I am free for date nights and vacation sleepovers. I have reliable transportation, flexible hours and I'm very trustworthy. I am looking forward to being your families added asset and loving your precious littles.
May 2020 - August 2023 Gina is truly the real life ‘Mary Poppins’! She can do it all and she does it with a huge smile! When Gina first joined our family, I only had two girls that were 3 years old and 10 months. Gina would come over in the morning, take care of the baby, and pick up the 3 year old at pre-school in the afternoon. She always did what was asked. She kept them on their routines throughout the day. She made breakfast, lunch, and kept them on their fairly strict nap schedules. She loved being active with them. She would take them to the park almost daily. If they weren’t at the park, they were on a walk, playing outside, exploring, etc… I don’t know how Gina did it but she also managed to keep up with our laundry and kept the house nice and tidy. She graciously adapted with our ever evolving schedules, as the girls got older and the school schedule changed. She even welcomed our third girl into the mix in 2022. Not only was Gina our constant Monday-Friday from about 8am to about 4pm but she was also open to our occasional date nights and 1-2 night getaways. We had the utmost trust that she could hold down the fort while we were gone. The girls loved having Gina here! We were so sad to lose Gina to the East Coast during the summer of 2023. She made the move to be closer to her daughter and granddaughter. If she still lived in San Diego, we would still have her over on a daily basis, helping us raise our 4th girl! Luckily, we visit the East Coast often and she always makes the effort to come visit us. She has truly become part of our family and we are beyond thankful and blessed we got to have her in our lives for several years! Gina was always on time, always had a smile, and could manage any situation with grace and calmness. Be it, a bee sting, the fickle temperament of a 3 year old for months on end, the food pickiness, the fighting of naps, etc…. She has seen it all and can handle it all. Any family to have Gina join theirs is beyond blessed!! Welcome her into your home and you will be thankful daily!
