About Gina

I'd describe my personality as caring, passionate, and hardworking! I like tutoring because I love helping students be successful learners! As a certified teacher for grades 1-6 , I have worked with children of different ages, abilities, and backgrounds. Every student can grow! I'm looking for a job that helps others improve upon their current skills. I began teaching in 2018. Most of my experience has been at inner city schools. Currently I am working as a special education paraprofessional In my spare time, I like to garden and play with my cat. One thing you should know about me is I am a mother of two grown boys as well as an educator. I understand how it feels when your child is struggling academically. Sometimes it just takes some one on one instruction. As students see their abilities improve, so does their enthusiasm for learning. My skills include reading, math, and science.
