For over 10 years, I have been helping students unlock their potential. I hold a college degree, and my core teaching philosophy centers on building confidence and a genuine love for learning. I actively listen to students and observe their interactions with new material to adapt my teaching methods, using visual aids, hands-on activities, and discussions. I keep students motivated by celebrating small successes and breaking down complex problems into manageable steps. Communication is essential, and I provide regular updates to parents to foster a collaborative environment. Seeing a student's confidence grow is the most rewarding aspect of tutoring. I am comfortable tutoring at your home, a center, online, the library, school, or a coffee shop. I can help with English, Reading, Spelling, Language, (ASL), Special Education, and Study Skills at the Elementary School, Adult, and College levels. I am also CPR and First Aid trained. I have a car and am comfortable with pets.
