About Gina

I'm a former elementary teacher & current tutor (PreK-4th-reading, writing, math.) I take many professional education courses/webinars yearly to find new ideas & stay up-to-date with new teaching practices. I teach 1-on-1, & customize each session for students of all levels & abilities, using fun games & activities so students enjoy sessions & are more likely to be fully engaged. Learning should be fun! I provide all materials. Sessions are 1-hour in a study room at a local library. $40 per session includes 1-2 hrs. of planning & preparing materials for each session. I think you'll find my rates very economical in comparison to other tutors! I will also provide several references. We can begin right away, or summer is a great time for some catch-up! We can focus on areas in which your child needs extra help, while they aren't in school trying to keep up with learning new things at the same time. I look forward to hearing from you soon!
