Although I have never been a formal employee in this realm, I helped care for both my parents as they aged. Both had dementia and mobility issues eventually along with other medical needs. My dad was able to be supported & cared for out of his home. My mother eventually went an assisted care facility & ultimately a care facility. I spent a lot of time with both parents at this stage & assisted them in all the ways one may need support, assistance, and comfort. I believe I was rather good at it too. When my ma went into assisted living &c are facility I brought her home cooked meals& treats, cleaned & decorated her room as the seasons changed and went big for holidays.
