I've been working as a nanny for over 10 years and I enjoy every second of it. There is not one moment I regret spending time and helping the children out. I have worked as a nanny for many families over the past 10 years taking care of newborns to teenagers. I consider myself more than a child care provider. I like to consider myself a mother's helper as well. I enjoy spending time with children and helping out around the house. I have done a little bit of everything: I was a nanny, cleaning up around the house, washing dishes, helping prepare dinner, running errands, picking up children from school and taking children to after-school activities. Gilma provided three wonderful years of full-time care for our two boys, over which she came to feel like a member of our family. If they both didn’t need to be in school now, we never would have given her up. She is both so loving and so skillful with kids, even at challenging ages (such as when ours were 2 and 4 and a lot to handle). She is creative in both her activities and problem solving and has a charisma the kids love. We always felt they were in good hands with her, and our older son is now fluent in Spanish from the time they’ve spent together. We can’t recommend Gilma highly enough, she is truly special.
