About Gillian
Experience: 6 yrs
I am a former middle/high school ELA teacher with a New York State teaching certification. I also have a Masters Degree in Curriculum Design and Instructional Technology. I have homeschooled kids as young as 4 and as old as 17 in addition to my teaching. I enjoy helping students flourish not just academically, but socially and emotionally as well. I have experience designing creative lesson plans and units but am also comfortable following a structured curriculum if that is preferred. I also have experience with test prep and can help your child succeed on exams, especially high stakes ones.
