About Gillian

I am a licensed Special Education teacher with a BA in Child, Youth, and Family Studies from Lesley University. I am energetic, hands ons, passionate tutor and sitter who loves working with children of all ages. I have had internships in classrooms with children with a variety of disabilities as well as severe autism from grades PreK-8. I have also worked in an inclusive 2nd grade classroom for a year and was a program coordinator for an after school at an elementary school. I love working with children of all ages. I am CPR/First Aid certified (including infant and child CPR) as well as a Red Cross lifeguard. I have worked as a babysitter since I was 14. I have been a camp counselor at a sleep away camp since I was 16 years old, as well as an Assistant Unit Director and Unit Director for a unit of up to 40 6-11-year-old children. I do not have an classroom this year and therefore have more time to work with some new kids and families!
