About Gigi

I find true joy in caring for seniors, hearing stories of times past and learning of the legacies they have created. Often times, they are still looking to engage with others and enjoy the latter chapters of their lives, and I would love to provide care and companionship where it is needed. As a current medical resident, I am looking for part time work that allows me to care for and engage with seniors. My first role in senior care came in the form of caring for my grandmother. She lived with us from 2019 until she passed in 2023. I also spent a year in college working with HomeInstead as a caregiver; this was my first paid role. In my spare time, I like to stay active- biking, running, and swimming. I also enjoy reading and a good movie night with the family. I am very intentional. I like to personalize my approach with each person, really taking time to learn their individual personalities, preferences, and quirks and offer patience, communication, and reliability.
