About Gienna
Experience: 3 yrs
Hi! I'm Gienna, and I love helping students feel more confident in math. I studied Actuarial Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where I also worked as a Classroom Assistant for Calculus II. I tutored throughout high school and college, helping students understand challenging concepts and work through problems step by step. After graduating, I spent nine years working in consulting, leading complex projects and working with people from a wide range of backgrounds. I recently left the corporate world to pursue more meaningful and creative work, including writing and publishing my 2nd book. I'm excited to get back to something I've always enjoyed: tutoring math! My goal is to make math feel approachable, explain concepts in a way that clicks, and help students build confidence along the way.
