About Giavanna

Hello, my name is Giavanna. I am originally from Syracuse and the oldest of eight children, so caring for little ones has always been a part of my life. I have over 10 years of childcare experience, beginning as a part-time nanny and later working in a daycare setting with children ranging from infancy through 6th grade. Currently, I work as an Assistant Teacher in an Inclusive Education program, where I support child-centered learning and sensory exploration. My background in dance and music brings creativity and playfulness to my work, and I enjoy weaving those elements into lessons, activities, and daily routines. I've also taught in afterschool programs with the Syracuse City School District. In May 2020, I earned my B. A. in Communications, which has strengthened my ability to connect with families and build strong relationships. Above all, I am passionate about providing children with a safe, engaging, and enriching environment that nurtures both learning and joy.
