About Gia

I like working with kids because they are so funny and insightful, but also as I've worked with kids, I've learned that I love working with families. The sense of community children give us is such a gift. I love getting to hear from caregivers their thoughts, concerns, successes, etc. on how they care for their family. I started working with kids when I was still a kid myself! My mother ran a daycare out of our house from when I was 6yo but I ended up getting my first babysitting gig when I was in 7th grade caring for a first grader and his younger brother who went to the same school as I. Throughout high school I would help wherever I could. The first consistent nannying I did was for the summers after I finished high school with a family of 5 children who my mother had once cared for. In my spare time, I like to cook, be outside, stretch, dance salsa, teach myself a new craft! I'm often busy spending time with friends or family as well :)
