About Gianna

Hello! My name is Gianna, and I am a senior at Kent State University studying Exercise Science on a pre-occupational therapy track. I recently completed an Occupational Therapy internship at University Hospitals Portage Medical Center. I have been around young children my entire life, with nine cousins under age 10, and began working with children at 15 caring for a 4- and 7-year-old daily. Since then, I have cared for several children as young as four months. I also coach TOPSoccer, a youth soccer program for children with disabilities, and currently work for Sunflower Childcare as a substitute teacher in Mahoning County. Through my childcare, volunteer, and healthcare experience, I have developed strong skills in attentive, reliable care. I enjoy engaging children in safe, age-appropriate activities and supporting daily routines, play, homework, and general care. I look forward to supporting families and creating a positive, nurturing environment for children.
