About Gianna

I'm a sophomore at NYU on the career path of a pediatrician. I grew up with younger cousins and siblings who I spent a lot of time with. I began babysitting as early as middle school, and over the years expanded my business to over 20 families in my area who I'd babysit for regularly. Over the Summer, I am a camp counselor working with children ages K-8. Now that I'm settled at college, I am looking to get back into childcare. I am passionate about nurturing the growth and development of children. I love being a positive influence in their lives. I am patient, creative, and friendly with much experience in child care. I also am comfortable with communicating with parents about their child's day. I am comfortable caring for up to four children from infant to teen. Something I find important is engaging with children. I believe that while babysitting, it is my job to make sure the child is occupied with games, minimizing screen time. I am also happy to clean up after the children.
