Last August through December I helped train and care for a Cavalier King Charles + mini Poodle mix puppy ( He was roughly 10weeks when I started). The family was very new to having a dog, both parents had only ever had cats. There was a lot of learning and teaching with the parents as well. It enhanced my communication, teaching, patience and flexibility skills. Having that much trust with not only one person but a whole family felt like a big responsibility that I was more than ready and capable of doing so, as I've had a dog my whole life and been around animals in general just as much! I love animals just as much as I love working with kids and I find so much joy in working with any kind of animal!
