About Gertrude

As a 1st time mom of twin boys, still working, I found it hard to want to let a stranger come into our home. Nut we had no village. We had several interviews with no luck. My one child would scream anytime someone new came in for an interview. However, one day a friend of mine called and said all their kids (all 4 of them) were in school full time and they had to let Gert go. Gert had been with them since day one of their 1st baby. I was hapoy to have her come for a interview and reluctant as well with my youngest. But to my surprise, he walked up and hugged her when she walked in. They say kids can since the good and they're right. After a few hour conversation, Gert started with us. My boys were 2 years old then. Now 5, about to be in school full time and play every sport under the sun. Although, we cant use her full time Monday through Thursday anymore, we love having "granny gert" over when we can! She's a staple in our family. She'll make a great addition to others as well.🫶
