About Gerri

Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my four years of tutoring experience. As a certified teacher with expertise in IEPs and 504 plans, I prioritize building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning over rote memorization. I adapt my methods--using visual aids, hands-on activities, and collaborative discussions--to match your unique learning style. By breaking complex problems into manageable steps and celebrating every "aha!" moment, I keep students motivated and engaged. I believe open communication with families is essential for building the trust necessary for student success. Whether we meet at your home, a library, or a local coffee shop, I am dedicated to helping you master new skills in Math, English, or study strategies. I look forward to partnering with you to turn academic challenges into milestones we can celebrate together.
