My first job was working as a waitress in a retirement home, it was never a dull moment and I genuinely miss the residents that I got to see each day. In my last year I worked solely in the memory care unit with residents struggling with dementia, Alzheimer's, or those with behavioral difficulties. I am happy to help with daily tasks and needs around the house like laundry, buying groceries, I am happy to help with preparing meals and working with dietary needs as I love to cook. As my own loved ones have grown older I know what a comfort it is to just have someone be with them and make sure they are safe, I was CPR certified for 3 years and will be renewing my certification June 2025.
