Geralyn was our caregiver for my father who suffered from dementia. She was so very kind and patient with him while caring for all his needs.  We were forever blessed to have her help with him until his passing. I would highly recommend her.

Geralyn joined our care team at a time when my mother's condition was already rather advanced. Multiple strokes had left her mentally and physically challenged. Geralyn stepped in as if she had been with my mother for years. Always calm, gentle, kind and genuinely caring, I can't adequately express the excellent job she did. She was efficient, competent, and resourceful. She understood my mother's health needs, but more importantly understood her companion and conversational needs. My mother's capacity to learn new people and names had basically passed, but she made an exception for Geralyn. She told me how very much she liked her right away. Geralyn adjusted to my mother's declining condition effortlessly and delivered outstanding care right to the end. I know how hard it is to select a caregiver -  you would be beyond fortunate to have the opportunity to select Geralyn.

Geralyn came to me under somewhat dire circumstances. I was in RI, overseeing a woman in Michigan, who was in pretty severe circumstances, and was in immediate need of a caregiver. I had no idea how to go about finding someone so far away and where I had no contacts to point me in the right direction, so I joined care.com and hoped for the best. I interviewed a dozen or so candidates over 2 days but I kept coming back to Geralyn, and after talking to the different candidates, checking references, etc. I hired Geralyn. I cannot tell you how happy I am that I did so. Geralyn was amazing. She stepped into a very difficult situation, dealing with someone with both physical and mental health issues, and didn't bat an eye at what she was faced with. She handled her client with the utmost dignity, and helped her with anything and everything that was asked of her. Geralyn went so far above and beyond anything that was expected of her, and never said no to a task no matter how out of the norm it was. Geralyn surpassed all of my expectations and I cannot say enough good things about her. I HIGHLY recommend Geralyn as a caretaker and anyone that hires her can be assured that they, or their loved ones, will be in excellent hands. I know this sounds a bit over the top, but she was that good and deserving of an over the top reference.

Geralyn was just awesome! She helped care for my father in his last days. She is compassionate, conscientious, and dependable. We have not given my father the comfort he deserved without Geralyn's help. Thank you Geralyn.

I have had the pleasure of working with Geralyn for several years at the hospital.  She is extremely kind and caring and she has an excellent work ethic.  She is always ready and willing to help with whatever I need done.  I can't think of anyone I would trust more to help with duties around the house.  I would willingly give her a key to my home to clean while my husband and I were away and not think twice about it. I know that she is very good with animals would enjoy our dogs getting an extra bit of love when we're not around.

Geralyn has been a Unit Secretary at a hospital since 2004. I have worked with her since 2006, I am her night manager. It is with distinct pleasure to write this reference for Geralyn. She is an excellent unit secretary, she has good interpersonal relationships with all the members of the health care team she works with, she is a team player and always willing to help out.
