About Geralyn

Hi! I'm Geralyn, one of my passions in life is wilderness guiding, a position that has challenged and delighted me in so many ways over the last few years. I feel being able to connect through real relationship to people and the natural world is at the center of living a good life. I'm looking to transition my skills from the wilderness to the home where I want to offer support while encouraging independence and learning from my clients, as people have wisdom to share at every life stage. I'm skilled at adapting to changing routines, de-escalating stressful situations, and handling confusion with patience. I hope to provide companionship, transportation, run errands, assist with light housekeeping, prepare meals, and offer mobility assistance. I am also trained in CPR and First Aid with a Wilderness First Responder certification. It's important for me to connect with the right client and family, as honest communication will be at the core of a relationship where trust is required.
