About Geraldine

Hi I'm Geraldine. I started out my medical journey as a medical assistant as a my own personal test to see if nursing could be my forever career. Initially I was business and accounting graduate. I worked as medical assistant and loved it and then went on to become an RN. I worked on a Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit where I cared for acute/chronic patients, postoperative surgery, cardiac and a variety of disease processes. Since retirement, I have enjoyed the one on one interaction with my patients where uninterrupted care can be provided on a more personal level and the best possible outcomes can be achieved while living their best life. Patience and compassion in a home setting is always best. On personal note, I was the caregiver for both my father and mother, my aunt and cousin. (congestive heart failure, multiple surgeries, dementia and cancer). In home Geriatric care is where my skills are best utilized. I'm a real talker, I love to laugh and a lover of animals big and small.
