Started my medical career as a certified nursing assistant and went on to become a registered nurse. Hospital experience included working a 28 bed Med-Surg unit in the VA hospital in New Oleans. On a personal note, I was the primary care giver for my father, mother, aunt and cousin until they their passing. I understand very well what is involved with being a caregiver for an elderly patient with medical needs and the compassion that is required for proper care.
