I have been a pet rescue volunteer for many years. I have also run my own ferret rescue for 3 years and had great success. I have had my own salt and fresh water tanks where fish were grown and had babies then sold or given to specialty stores. I have had dogs all my life. My current love is a 12-year-old Doxie.
