About Georgia

I currently work at a preschool and have a gap in my work schedule that I'm looking to full for the weeks of July 20th and 27th while we are on summer break. I have experience working with infants up to adolescents in a variety of settings such as: forest preschools, wilderness programs, rites of passage programs, a Montessori inspired school, briefly as a sub at a Waldorf school, and nannying. I'm not rigid about embodying a certain philosophy when it comes to nannying-mostly child-led with appropriate guidance/boundaries, balance of indoor and outdoor play, and a balance between empowered independence and interdependence. I am open to working with a wide range of families and it works better for everyone when there's some shared compatibility. My preference is for families who share similar values around some amount of outdoor play/nature connection, anti-oppression/anti-bias/anti-racist education. Thanks!
