I have experience working with infants up to adolescents in a variety of settings such as: forest preschools, wilderness programs, rites of passage programs, a Montessori inspired school, and briefly as a sub at a Waldorf school. I'm not rigid about embodying a certain philosophy when it comes to nannying-mostly child-led with appropriate guidance/boundaries, balance of indoor and outdoor play, and a balance between empowered independence and interdependence. :) I am open to working with a wide range of families and it works better for everyone when there's some shared compatibility. My preference is for families who share similar values around some amount of outdoor play, anti-oppression/anti-bias/anti-racist education and who welcome prioritizing books with BIPOC characters/stories, etc. Thanks!
