Georgia is considerate and kind. My mother has dementia but, of course, doesn’t realize it most of the time. She is fiercely independent and the thought of having anyone besides family or friends in her home brings immediate anger and complete rejection. Georgia was able to get my mom to accept her as an assistant ( she did not use the words “care giver”). My mom even gave her a hug the first time she cared for her. This, in my opinion, was pretty much a miracle. Georgia cooks, shops, cleans, reminds when medications are due ( among other things) but she never forces my mom to do anything. She is just so kind and caring. She is a lovely person through and through and I think this job is truly her calling.
