I have worked as a teacher for 8 years and worked in the classroom with many special needs students, it always gave me great pleasure. After needing a much needed break from teaching, I started to work as a support coordinator with individuals with Autism, helping them manage daily tasks. It was my favorite. I believe that in many ways those with special needs have a better understanding for the world then those who aren't, they have more love, more care, more present in the moment and think in a way we do not , which is why I enjoy working with them.
