About Genna

Hi! I'm Genna. I've worked with children for 7 years and truly love helping them learn and grow. I'm currently a part-time forest school teacher in a Reggio Emilia-inspired school, where I work closely with homeschool children in outdoor, hands-on learning environments. I'd describe my personality as calm, kind, and friendly! I like working with kids because I love being immersed in their world! I'm looking for a job that fits well with my skills and schedule. I started working with kids when my sister had her first baby. She needed full time childcare and I was available. It was then that I fell in love with teaching, learning and being with children! In my spare time, I like to go on fun outdoor adventures with my husband, paddle board, read, and crochet! One thing you should know about me is I'm very reliable. My skills include patience & emotional regulation, creative enrichment activities, and gentle guidance.
