About Genevieve

In this age of automation, it is my goal that kids learn how to think and learn to love the learning process. Sometimes what students need most to accomplish this is someone to compassionately focus on their individual learning needs. I center inquiry-based learning and patient instruction to give students their best chance at success. It is my highest priority that students I work with develop not only an understanding of the concept, but an appreciation for learning and the world around them. I have a Masters degree and a near-perfect history of straight A's. I will be honest, though, my only teaching experience is college students. I am confident in my ability to work and engage with kids and teens. Even still, I am offering tutoring at only 18$ per hour (10-20$ cheaper than recommended with my education level), in hopes of gaining more experience. I would be honored for the opportunity!
