About Genevieve

I'm a Rutgers grad student, longtime nanny, former cheer and gymnastics coach, and tutor with a soft spot for silly and rowdy kiddos. I've spent years working with kids of different ages and learning styles, including ADHD, and I'm known for being patient and upbeat. I love helping kids learn through play, movement, and conversation, whether that's turning a walk into a scavenger hunt or sneaking in Spanish words during snack time. I have a minor in Spanish and enjoy making language learning feel natural and fun, not forced. I also work as an oncology veterinary nurse at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital (until late January), so I am very comfortable with pets. I believe kids tend to warm up to me quickly. I take safety and communication seriously, but still make sure kids feel supported and excited to see me.
