Hello! I have been a Registered Nurse specializing in the maternal child health field for 8 years- a career that complements my passion for working with families and children. I am currently working in a local hospital as a Lactation Counselor three days a week. My RN experience includes Labor & Delivery, Mother Baby, Pediatrics, PICU & NICU, and lactation. I have been watching children since middle school, and have enjoyed every moment. My experience includes working with newborns, infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school aged kids through high school. While attending college, I worked as a substitute teacher at a child development center and cared for infants, from 2 months to one year in age, and three and 4-year-olds. Genevieve watched my two boys (age 5 1/2 and 2) for 7 days full time while my husband and I worked. She is so caring, thoughtful, and interactive with the children. She played with them and taught them things and helped resolve conflicts between the two boys. Her focus was on the children at all times. Our boys love Ms. Genevieve and we will welcome her back anytime!
