About Gena

Hello, My name is Gena. I'm currently obtaining a Masters in Social Work. As a caregiver, it is important to listen attentively to every child and to identify their individual strengths in order for them to see the greatness they have within themselves. I currently provide play therapy services at a bilingual elementary school, located in the Fruitville district. In addition, I facilitate group counseling sessions for younger children ages 5-8, in order to improve their social skills. I lead with geniality and compassion, a team player, manage time and resources well, and communicate honestly and effectively. I am able to guide and coach others to see the potential they have and to envision a brighter future for themselves. I am a hard worker, willing to challenge myself, an inquisitive learner seeking to expand my knowledge and humbled when I have the opportunity to give my knowledge to others.
