Hello! My name is Gelanie and I am currently a college student doing remote learning. I have several years experience in child care starting since the age of 14! I am certified in CPR and First Aid, and work at a daycare as an assistant teacher for toddlers. Through my job there, I take courses in Early Childhood Education to further my knowledge and understanding of children. I love kids and taking care of them doesn't feel like a job to me, it's something that I am passionate about. Not only do I have professional experience with children, but also personal experience as I come from a big family. Gelanie was a great babysitter for my grandchildren ages 5-10. She was responsible, attentive, caring, creative and good-natured. She is well educated and bilingual. When she had to set limits with the children, she never raised her voice but gave clear and firm directions as to appropriate behavior. They respected her, and I did too. I would definitely recommend her 100% and would hire her again.
