About Gaylen

Nurturing children comes naturally to me, perhaps because of the positive experiences I had babysitting in my younger years. My Mom owns and runs an at home daycare so I grew up watching and learning from her began babysitting for her clients at a young age. For the past 6 years, I've supported families by providing reliable childcare. I am comfortable caring for up to three children, ages 0-11. I'm currently studying at Oakland Community College and plan to get my bachelor's at Wayne State University. I love using my creative and imaginative personality to engage kids in outdoor sports, board games, and puzzles. I always follow the parents' lead when enforcing household rules and communicate verbally at pickup about your child's day. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I have a car and am comfortable with pets. Knowing I can make a small difference in a child's life brings me immense joy. I hope I sound like the right fit for your family!
