Hi! My name is Gayle. I've done home health care for many years. I've also worked in nursing homes as a nurse and then a social worker, until I retired in 2021. My degree is in gerontoIogy. I've worked with people who have all stages of demetia as well as Parkinson's. Companion care is my specialty and being a family liaison Although I am older it assists me in relating to this population I am punctual, empathetic, have very strong work ethics and most of all I am kind and caring. Meal prep as needed I love to be a companion. I know how to keep your loved one busy. Assistance with dressing, toileting, medication administration etc. is what I've done for many years. Emotional support is very important. I am a part time worker, 3-5 hours a day, a few days a week. I'm covid, flu and RSV vaccinated Don't ignore me because of my age. With age comes experience.
