About Garrett

Hi! My name is Garrett, and I have over 10 years of experience working with kids. I started volunteering with Family Ministries at my home church, in Charlotte, NC. That experience eventually led to a Youth Program Internship where I helped oversee 100 to 150 kids each week while making sure both children and parents felt supported and comfortable. I also created fun, engaging lesson plans designed to get kids excited about coming to church. I have experience tutoring kids in Spanish, Italian, and basic Algebra, and I enjoy finding creative ways to make learning fun. Outside of childcare, I love staying active through the gym and pickleball. I grew up playing outside every day and believe getting outside is one of the best ways for kids to burn energy, make friends, explore, and get their hands dirty. I'm responsible, energetic, patient, and genuinely enjoy spending time with kids!
