About Garrett

My name is Garrett and I have been taking care of people and animals my entire life. Most of my experience is with high acuity behavior adults in the intellectual and developmental disabilities realm, but I also take care of animals and can meet any situation with grit and compassion. I am thoughtful, kind, humorous, adventurous, and patient. I earned a BA from UCLA and an MBA from LSU, but decided to take a more service-oriented and advocacy-centered approach to my life's work. I can be gregarious and bright, or I can be mellow and present. I have experience day planning, medication management, terrific documentation/communication, bathroom and hygiene assistance, physical support (I'm a big strong guy!), and getting folks into the community to experience new things, or engage in favorite activities. I am highly adaptable, learn routines quickly, and I am focused on providing the best care possible for your loved ones.
