About Galyn

Caring for children and helping them grow into happy, confident individuals is something I truly love. I have over seven years of experience working with children of all ages and have been babysitting since I was about 12 years old. In high school, I started a Postpartum Depression Awareness Club where we supported teachers and families by helping provide childcare assistance and creating a stronger support system for parents. I also worked as a lead paddleboarding and kayaking instructor at a maritime school, where I supervised and taught large groups of children on and off the water. This experience helped me become patient, energetic, organized, and confident working with kids of many ages. I am CPR and First Aid certified, a strong swimmer, and comfortable with swimming supervision. I love creating a fun, safe, and engaging environment through outdoor activities, games, crafts, and learning opportunities, while always respecting each family's routines and rules.
