About Gail

I'd describe my personality as gregarious, cheerful, and compassionate. I care for seniors who need transportation to doctor's appointments, grocery shopping, errands, and companionship, etc. I help combat loneliness, and also keep them active and interested in pursuing their hobbies. I always respect their need for independence and try to provide "invisible help". I also care for kids after school by tutoring and helping with homework. I can make snacks or do light meal prep, I can cook or bake with them, play board games, and/or do craft or art projects. I volunteer as an elementary school math tutor once a week at a public school in Chapel Hill. In my spare time, I like to watercolor, go to museums and art exhibitions, play card games with friends and spend time with my husband.
