About Gail

Hello! My name is Gail. I have been taking care of the elderly and disabled for over 20 years. I took care of my parents for 5 years. They both had dementia. I have worked with clients with Parkinson's (in a limited capacity). I have experience working with quadriplegic and paraplegic clients. I can use a Hoyer lift. I will help with mobility but I do not do any heavy lifting. I have experience working with developmentally disabled clients. I worked with one young man who was autistic, had cerebral palsy and developmental disability. I have to say my favorite part of this kind of work is getting to know new people. I'd like you to know that with my experience and training I am comfortable working with both you and the client to maintain a safe environment. To be respectful and treat all as if they were my family. I love the arts and crafting, music, animals, children. I love to look at photos and hear stories. I am active and love to take walks. I look forward to meeting you!
