About Gabrielle

I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Seton Hall University in May 2015 with a degree in early childhood, elementary, and special education. Additionally, I completed a second major in Spanish. I am currently employed as instructional aide for a second grade student with anxiety and attention issues in Livingston School District and I am seeking after school employment as a tutor. As an instructional aide, I work closely with my student to help her succeed in the classroom. Some of my day to day tasks with her include: repeating directions, rephrasing questions, prompting responses, breaking down material, and assisting her with challenging tasks. Additionally, I work with her on impulse control, maintaining attention, and social interactions. I also assist many other students in understanding material everyday. Last year, I worked as a Kindergarten teacher. During my time in Kindergarten, I planned and taught lessons daily. My experience makes me an excellent tutoring candidate.
