About Gabrielle

Hi there! My name is Gigi and I am currently a student studying Psychology at Seminole State College. I am 20 years old. And more importantly, I have a love for working with kids that has been instilled in me from a very early age. My father comes from a large family where I have 18 cousins. Also, my younger brother and I are 10 years apart so I have been caring for him since he was an infant; babysitting for my parents or watching him after school. I have volunteered with his classes when he was in kindergarten and first grade facilitating small group activities with the teacher and overall have always had an interactive role in his life and the lives of my younger cousins. In high school, I babysat for a family of 3 children weekly and really valued the relationship building that comes with a consistent family. More recently, I spent a year volunteering in an Americorps program as a mentor and tutor for Middle School students in under resourced inner-city
