About Gabrielle

Hello! My name is Gabrielle. I am a graduate from the University of California Santa Barbara with five years of experience working in child care. While attending school I worked as a teaching assistant and peer mentor at Orfalea Family Children's Center in a preschool classroom. I also have two years of experience, as a special eductaion teacher, working in a transitional kindergarten special education classroom and am continuing my eductaion to become a Speech Language Pathologist. I have completed coursework in child development; these include Child, Family, and Community, Child Development, Early Learning Environments, and Foundations in Developmental Theory. Last summer, I worked as a nanny for a bright 3-year-old girl and had a wonderful time! I also babysit often for family and friends. Additionally, I have volunteered at Therapeutic Riding Center where I assisted in Therapeutic Horseback Riding Activities for children with special needs.
