My Top 3 Pet Sitting Skills. Matching Energy. I can tell if a dog wants to play, chill, get pets, personal space, more water, outside, etc. I'm very receptive to what they may need. Burning Energy. I've raised a red lab and a mastiff-lab mix, both had more energy than me, but I've learned to keep running on empty and just get them tired out. Adaptability. I dogsit at my mom's when she goes out of town and she has 2 dogs, 2 cats, 12 chickens, and more animals to come. I have watched them for her for over 3 years, the most being 6 days waking up early to feed chickens, run dogs, let the cats out of the barn, collect eggs, and fill water / food as needed. Bonus Skill: Love. I truly care for all animals. Whether it is your pet, my own, or a rescue dog I met while volunteering, I do everything I can to make their world as bright as possible.
