About Gabriela

I cannot recommend Gabby highly enough. Gabby has been part of my family for over 30 years — truly part of our family. She began caring for my older brother around 1994 at our home in Beverly Hills, and by the time I was born, she was already deeply woven into our lives. From infancy through adulthood, Gabby helped raise me every step of the way — preschool, elementary school, middle school, high school, and beyond. She was not just our nanny; she was, in every meaningful sense, a second mother. Gabby cared for my brother and me as if we were her own children. She showed us unconditional love, patience, discipline, and encouragement, and was always there not only as a caregiver, but as a trusted mentor, teacher, and emotional anchor. She helped tutor me in math when I was younger, taught me Spanish (I later scored at native proficiency on the SAT-IIs) and consistently pushed me to be the best version of myself. I attribute a meaningful part of my academic and personal success to her influence and support — from earning straight A’s and graduating at the top of my class, to attending Tufts University and building a successful career as an adult. Beyond her incredible care for children, Gabby is one of the most trustworthy people I have ever known. My family trusted her completely — she lived with us at various points over the years, stayed in our home while we traveled, cared for our dogs, had keys, alarm codes, and full access to our household. She handled everything with integrity, responsibility, and total professionalism. There was never a question of trust — ever. Most importantly, Gabby is a wonderful human being. She is kind, loving, patient, reliable, and deeply committed to the families she works with. Any child would be incredibly lucky to have her in their life. I can say with absolute certainty that whatever compensation she receives, she is worth many times more. The care, love, and stability she provides are priceless. Gabby recently relocated to Connecticut after spending the majority of her life and career in California, and I wholeheartedly recommend her to any family considering her as a nanny. I say this not as a casual reference, but as someone who has known her for my entire life and who was raised in large part by her. She is truly the best of the best, and any family fortunate enough to work with her will understand immediately why she has been cherished by so many families in West Los Angeles for decades.
