About Gabriela

Hi, my name is Gabby! I graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science and majors in biology and classics. From graduation until now, I worked as a scientist in Chicago doing R&D for biotech companies. I've recently relocated back to Hawaii to be with family, and I'm excited to start on this tutoring and caregiving journey! I'd describe my personality as mellow, focused, and surprisingly funny. I like tutoring because it's a very fulfilling task. I spent my undergraduate years as a genetics teaching assistant and loved getting to know my students and helping them succeed in a traditionally challenging course. My skills include math, sciences, and history. If your student is taking Latin, I am also equipped to tutor that.
