I care for a pet based on their background and individual needs. For some, that means slow movement and non-imposing introductions with lots of patience and trust-building. For others, that means lots of play, fetch, puzzles, and quick training sessions. I’ve fostered 3 dogs. All needed special attention, and it brought me great joy to help them learn to trust. I’m not easily scared and have a lot of experience working with territorial pups. I can appreciate that a growling dog isn’t a bad dog. I love when owners leave their pups favorite treats and toys, and a general outline of their daily routine, known commands, and house rules. I have also cared for cats, snakes, fish, shrimp, lizards, chickens, tarantulas, and an exotic bird. I have experience caring for tame horses and am happy to learn how to take care of livestock.
