I am an older sister to five girls, one of whom is my biological sister (21 yrs old), the others are my younger track sisters that I took care of, drove around made sure that they were presentable for class, and helped with any problems when necessary. I love all my little sisters and still now, watch them run and keep up with them on a regular basis just to make sure that everyone is staying out of trouble, they are like family and watching their growth has touched me in ways that I never thought possible. I also have spent the last 5 summers assisting at my grandmother's Daycare (E's Daycare), with children ages (7 mnths-13 yrs old). I helped with after school lessons, the feeding and preparation of food for the children, along with the arts and crafts and reading activities.

Gabriela is really friendly and very competent. She has good experience working with kids at the school where she works and she's enthusiastic. She was willing to speak some Spanish to our kids, and our kids adore her. They are so excited for her to come back and we look forward to working with her over the next months. A plus: we have a screen-free home, and she was willing to create fun art projects, garden with our kids, read to them, and engage them in meaningful activities.
