I have been a Nursing Assistant for 6 years working in patient/client homes providing assistance with client's activities to daily living like feeding, bathing, dressing, and toileting. Observing and monitoring client's ensuring continuity of care with each personal care visit. Responsibilities have been, taking vital signs, assisting with Range-of-Motion, ambulation, transferring assistance, while also being a companion, providing respite care and personal care. I have been trained in first Aid and CPR. I am very familiar with conditions such as dementia and Alzheimer's, as I have a Bachelor's of Science in Human Services, with a concentration in Mental Health Counseling. I also am versed in medical terminology and health conditions, as I am a graduate of Medical Reimbursement and Coding, and I am a Certified Coding Associate. I have also served as a Qualified Mental Health Professional-P working with adults with both physical and developmental disabilities for 15 years.
