About Gabi

I am a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Certified Nursing Assistant with 16 years experience within private in-home and long-term care facilities. I am dedicated to helping older adults and individuals with health challenges live safely, comfortably, and with dignity in their own homes. I hold a 360-credit Diploma in Public Relations from the University of South Africa (UNISA). My education taught me the importance of effective communication, empathy, professionalism, and problem-solving. I specialize in caring for older adults and individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's, diabetes, end-of-life care, and bed-bound clients. My skills include medication admin, monitoring vital signs, meal preps, personal care, light housekeeping, transportation to appointments and safe transfers using Hoyer lifts and Easy Stand equipment. In addition, I have experience caring for clients with colostomy and urinary catheters, ensuring proper hygiene, comfort, dignity and infection control.
