About Gabby

Hello! I'm Gabby, a recent graduate of Appalachian State, currently working toward a masters. My degree is in Nutrition and Wellness with a focus on rural community health. During the summer, I am an energetic, nature loving camp counselor and hiking guide. I am CPR and Wilderness First Aid certified. I like to focus on outdoor time and sparking curiosity about nature. I love having fun, whether that be exploring the outdoors, getting crafty, playing games or baking. I am patient and lead with kindness and understanding. I prefer to use non-violent communication practices as a form of conflict management, and I prioritize open communication with parents. My main goal is to make sure kiddos are having fun, learning, and being safe while doing so!
