I believe every child deserves excellent care. I am flexible on rates, depending on number of children, etc. If money is an issue, let's discuss it and get your childcare needs met. My first job was as a swim instructor and lifeguard instructor. And yes, my CPR and teaching skills are still up to par. I have worked with children who live on the autism spectrum, as well as trauma survivors. I believe strongly in trauma-informed care. This means that I prioritize co-regulation, respect for where the child needs to be met, and acknowledgement of their capabilities as young humans, where children are held to a high standard while being supported through learning how to be a person, including emotion regulatation. I've also used Montessori and Reggio teaching philosophies in schools and in swim lessons, as well as in babysitting. I am able to help with homework and homeschooling. I have a degree in Social Work. I have two cats, and complementary photos of them come with my services!
